Aesthetic Dental Fillings
An aesthetic filling is to obtain a more natural and aesthetic appearance by using composite filling material in fillings made on the teeth of the patient.
Aesthetic fillings made in tooth color are applied to both the front and back of the teeth. Aesthetic fillings are much longer-lasting, aesthetic, and healthy than metal fillings.
The aesthetic dental filling is a short and painless procedure. First, a preliminary study is performed with tissue and tooth samples taken from the patient. After this work, which minimizes adaptation problems, composite filling materials are placed in layers in prepared cavities. Halogen is cured with light and chemically bonded to the tooth. Aesthetic fillings can be applied in 2 ways;
Composite Filling
The aesthetic filling material is generally composite. In composite filling applications, decays are cleaned and filled with radiation. Bevel is applied to increase the bonded surface. By applying the bonding process, the tooth and composite filling are fixed to each other. After the beam hardening process is done, the tooth is polished. It is the most active solution for tooth decay.
Porcelain Filling
Porcelain material is also used while making aesthetic tooth filling. Porcelain fillings have been developed to complement the deficiencies of composite fillings. A little shrinkage occurs during hardening in composite fillings. In porcelain filling applications, fillings are prepared to measure in the laboratory environment to eliminate this problem. Therefore, there is no problem that the filling does not fit.
Advantages of Aesthetic Filling Treatment
