FUE Technique
Follicular unit extraction, also known as FUE, is a method for hair transplanting which involves the process of taking hair follicles from available parts of your body to restore them where the hair is thinner or even absent. Sessions generally take 3 to 5 hours and you can go back to your daily life right after the procedure.
The Procedure of FUE Technique
Right after shaving the area where follicles will be removed and the transplant area, your surgeon starts removing follicles. Next step is to create tiny spots by a needle in which follicles will be inserted. Once the insert process is over, your surgeon creates a protected area around your head with bondage.
Long-Lasting Results with FUE
If your hair is getting thinner or if you have balding problems, FUE technique provides easily achieved long lasting results. Because local anaesthetic injections are used before the transplant, you don’t feel any pain during the procedure. If you feel pain or swelling around the transplanted area, you can take painkillers afterwards.
The Process After The Treatment
You should not wash your hair after the procedure for three or four days. It’s recommended to take a couple days off to rest at home as it quickens the healing process. Your surgeon will provide you all the necessary information including not to wear hats or brushing your hair for a certain amount of time. By following your surgeon’s recommendations you can complete your treatment period with maximum profit and a successful operation of FUE technique.
