Day 1: Night Journey

Our first stop will be Gaga Lake on Çamaş road, surrounded by reeds and hazelnut gardens, also known as Kiliseli Lake by the people of the region. We arrive in The District of Çarşamba and see the Gogceli Mosque, which has been built without a single nail in its 800-year history. After seeing the Ataturk Honor Monument built in 1931 by Austrian sculptor H. Kriphel, which became the symbol of Samsun, and taking our souvenir photos, we visit the Bantrma (Bandırma) Ferry, which is located in the Doğu Park area, which delivers our ancestor to Samsun with his comrades after a difficult journey. Afterwards, we visit the Gazi Museum, located on the famous Mecidiye Street in the city center, where our ancestor was welcomed when he came to Samsun, where the hotel was converted into a museum today.
